I’m an avid reader, I always have been. I remember my Dad buying me Enid Blyton books for 50p and devouring them every time he brought them home. I recall Wind in the Willows and Winnie the Pooh; Mallory Towers, Dear Teddy Robinson and Charlotte Sometimes. I am ‘old school.’
I’m an odd reader, in some respects, preferring books to TV or Movies, because books play out like TV shows and Movies in my head. I can’t help it – it’s just how my imagination works. I was born to love literature.
My tastes range from good old fiction; psychological thrillers to crime fiction, classics to poetry, sci-fi to fantasy – especially recently. So this blog is tribute, so to speak, of my recent foray into the fantasy genre, as well as those I’m more familiar with. I’m finding the older I get, the more I develop in my literary adventures and I’m all the better off for it.
Here, you will find my innermost thoughts on various genres, authors and titles, et al. I’m not doing this for anything other than to catalogue my thoughts and feelings, and if you find those interesting, then so be it, and more the merrier to you.
If that is the case, my only hope is that you fall in love with literature, just as I have. I honestly believe it has the power to change lives.
