Here’s a list of my reviews so far – I thought this might be easier than trying to scroll through the blog to find them all! I’m also not going to cheat, well, not much. Nearly everything here will be in some shape or form on my Goodreads reviews, but the reviews here will more than likely contain spoilers, or be in-depth reviews/readings.
Also, FYI, I’ve listed below how I tend to review, just to make my ratings transparent.
My ratings
If I’m reading something that is short, or from NetGalley, or something that I think fits, I often use the CAWPILE rating system (Characters, Atmosphere, Writing, Plot, Intrigue, Logic, Enjoyment.) These are scored out of 10 and then I do an overall rating based on that. I try my hardest with these, but sometimes they fall flat and can be a bit boring. You can skip them if you want, because I’ll tag/categorise them as CAWPILE
In general, I’m a bit of a talker, especially when it comes to books, or football, but that’s not the point. So, when it comes to reviews, it’s more than likely that I’m just spewing out my thoughts about how I felt, what I liked, what I didn’t like and general things like that. If I’m doing an in-depth read, like I do with some books or series, I can pretty much guarantee that the posts are going to be longer than normal, and will contain spoilers. In fact, most of what I post here will contain spoilers; my Goodreads reviews will (more often than not be spoiler-free and will of course be marked appropriately.) Reviews for the bingo challenges will be in the Bingo/Challenges section on the nav bar.
